Book Of The Year

I'm pretty much a good reader but nit the bookworm who reads everything.
This year one book really attracted me and for the 1st time I was really really excited to read a book. It was the well-known "50 shades of grey” by E. L. James.
I read some reviews and opinions about this so called erotic book and there were mixed feelings about it when some found it harmful to women & others who found it liberating and new.
To be more clear and straight forward here’s what I felt and read about this book

My Opinion:

-Emotional
-Positively Weird
-Amusing to a certain point
-Unique
-Sexual

Reviews & Sayings:

-"young women are taught or encouraged to indulge certain bad choices regarding men" -Pastor Douglas Wilson-
-"Fifty Shades does do one very important thing, which is empowering women to take some badly needed "me" time and be entertained. And there's nothing wrong with that." -Kathleen Schmidt-

Tech Reviewers

The first thing you do when buying a new thing is to show it to friends and listen to their opinion. That's if you didn't already take someone to help you with your choice.
That's the concept of Tech Reviewers for me, they are the helpers, guiding you to choose your next mobile phone perhaps or maybe a next tablet: Some are Android Likers while others prefer Apple but most of them reviews devices objectively even if they prefer one over other.

And one of the reviewers I follow on Youtube is @MKBHD or Marques Brownlee, he's my favorite reviewer. He explains everything so clearly and objectively convincing me directly what to buy next. What I like about him is how precise yet clear & simple he is. You can subscribe to his youtube channel : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBJycsmduvYEL83R_U4JriQ

One thing that I hate about reviewers, when they get so subjective leaving us confused whether they get paid or not to promote products.

A Year in Kimye's World

It has certainly been a very busy year for the Wests. From marriage to Vogue’s cover, they were definitely the most talked couple of 2014.

Let’s Start by the wedding:

On May 24, 2014, Kardashian and West married at Fort di Belvedere in Florence, Italy after having a wonderful one week at Paris where they had their rehearsal dinner and their visit to Chateau De Versaille. Let’s not forget that they were invited by Valentino to his humble mansion.

But just before that, in April 2014 kimye were on the American Vogue cover for the magazine’s April issue. The cover caused a controversy. Some criticized the Kim’s appearance on the cover of the magazine whle many others have praised her with she and West dubbed the "#worldsmosttalkedaboutcouple.”

Then, in June 2014, Kardashian announced a mobile game for iPhone and Android called Kim Kardashian: Hollywood. The objective of the game is to become a Hollywood star or starlet. The game supports a free to play model, meaning the game is free to download, but charges for in game-items.
Upon release in late June 2014, the game became a hit, earning $1.6 million in its first five days of release. In late July, the game's developer Glu Mobile announced that the game was the fifth highest earning game in Apple's App Store.

Talking about money, Kim’s net worth was estimated to be $45 million (estimate as of May 2014).

Also, Kardashian voiced the role of an alien in an episode of the adult animated series American Dad!, which aired as part of the show's 10th season (2013-2014).

Moving To Kanye,

Alongside the wedding and Vogue’s cover,

In April 2014, Kanye appeared in Future's single titled "I Won

in August 2014, while Yeezus was ranked in the eighth position of a list of 100 albums.

Moreover, Sergio Pizzorno of English rock band Kasabian cited West as an influence on their 2014 album 48:13

Kim's for looks in Paris just before the wedding

Why I Chose The iPhone 6 Over Samsung Galaxy Note 4

I know there are thousands of reviewers on social media that you can follow and trust , but I wanted to show how a regular user like me choose his next mobile phone.
First I’ve tried technically 4 to 5 operating systems: -iOS -Blackberry OS (tills os 7) -Android -WindowsPhone -Symbian (RIP)
Why I love iOS:
1- While many will disagree with me, but I love the fact that iOS is a closed source system unlike Android because it keeps the os controlled and fresh.
2-Synchronizing is a very special thing for me in iOS and I know that it is also available on Android using Google services, but the fact that I have an iPad and a Mac makes it easier to have an iPhone. And no I am not an iSheep.
3-Continuity: Apple’s strongest point is continuity. They keep updating the OS and they listen to what people say. Unlike android they create hardware for their software. They study well every next update (Except os 8.0.1)
4-Apps: I love the iOS app eco system. I know that the majority exits on other platforms but every app always starts at Apple’s app store: like Instagram, Hyperlapse and many others.

Why I love iPhones:
1-Because of iOS Strength points already discussed.
2-Hardware-wise: Apple masters hardwares: They create pieces of Art. Period.
3-New Screen Sizes (4.7’ for me is perfect)
4-Vast choice of accessories.

What I hate about my iPhone 6:
1-Its resemblance to every iPhone I already bought.
2-I like closed-source OS but also dislike it when coming to downloading songs or files or etc…
3-Battery Life
4-Keyboard Lag in my iPhone 6**
**Other handsets seems fine

Why I didn’t pick the Note 4:
1-Because, for me, Samsung’s hardware are not for me.
2-I just hate TouchWiz
3-Big screen (although I love it but it's not practical for me as an engineering student)

At the end, this is my personal point of view and I respect every other one.
Mobile phones are so personal ,so taste and choice differ from one individual to another.

Continuity & Tumblr

I’ve always wanted to create a blog. It has been my muse and my getaway.
Recently I’ve been terribly busy pushing me not to update my blog.
But I’ve recently noticed that Tumblr is a great way to communicate an idea and to continue my blogging passion.
So I would like to have suggestions on whether I should start using it or no?
